“There have been many most excellent poets, that never versified, and now swarm many versifiers that need never answer to the name of poets.”

Sir Philip Sidney

Would that I should dare call myself a ‘poet’ after such a remark. Instead, I shall say that I have been versifying for several years. I prefer more archaic forms (particularly the Sonnet) and only rarely dabble in free verse. I am working on an epic, narrative poem, entitled, “Chrystlemain” which is intended to be in the vain of Pilgrim’s Progress. You can read sample verses by clicking on the links in the sidebar.
